Description

The contract included the upgrade of Lough Forbes Water Treatment Plant. The Plant has the capacity to supply 7,250m3/day of treated water to Longford Town and the surrounding countryside. ESK Plant Ltd was responsible for construction and supervision of all Civil Works on site.
 

Scope of Works

• Excavation and Substructure for treatment Building.
• Civil works associated with Bunded Chemical Store.
• Excavation and Base for Clarification tank
• Excavation and Base for Washwater Recovery tank
• Excavation and Base for Sludge Thickener
• Excavation and Base for Sludge Holding Tank.
• Installation of interconnecting underground pipework 
• Installation of all underground services.
• Major cut and fill earthworks.
• Widening and construction of internal access roads.
• Footpaths
• Landscaping
