Description

The contract included the upgrade of Lough Kinale and Abbeyshrule Water Treatment Plants. The plants have the capacity to provide 6,700m3/day of water to surrounding towns and countryside. ESK Plant Ltd contract included management and construction of all building and Civil works involved in the project.
 

Scope of Works

• Construction of new raw water intake line into Lough Kinale
• Construction of Sludge Thickener’s and Sludge Holding Tank.
• Construction of Chemical Storage Bund
• Installation of underground process pipework.
• Replacement of 250 Dia. treated water Rising main
• Construction of New Coagulant Storage Building
• Demolition of redundant Tanks
• Widen Entrance wall and plant roads
• Waterproofing existing flat roof
• Internal finishes upgrade including painting and Tiling
